ABOUT PHILADELPHIA UNION FOUNDATION
Our mission is to inspire and empower young people, especially those from underserved communities, to reach their potential as productive, caring, and responsible individuals. We believe in the power of soccer and its ability to bring people together. Join us in making a difference!
The Philadelphia Union Foundation is a non-profit organization of the Philadelphia Union, a professional soccer team based in Chester, Pennsylvania. The Foundation was established in 2011 with the goal of building safe spaces to play soccer in Philadelphia, strengthening youth programming, using soccer as a magnet to unite diverse communities, and growing the beautiful game in Chester, Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley. The organization has since then launched various initiatives, programs, and events to foster social impact and community development. We work towards making soccer accessible to all kids in Philadelphia. We offer a range of programs, from Chester Soccer, Mentorship and Mental Health. They are all designed to provide children with life skills, coaching, equipment, and mentoring to succeed on and off the field. We strive to create a culture of respect, sportsmanship, and inclusiveness. The Philadelphia Union Foundation has demonstrated a commitment to using soccer as a tool for positive change in the community. Through its various programs and initiatives, the organization has impacted thousands of lives and created a brighter future for those it serves. As the charitable arm of the Philadelphia Union, we are proud of the organization's achievements and its ongoing commitment to driving social change in the Greater Philadelphia region.
