ESTABLISHED 2026
THE FOUNDING CLASS OF 2026
WHAT
IT IS
This is not a donation. It is an induction.
The Legacy XI Society is a permanent philanthropic membership of the Philadelphia Union Foundation — a founding class of 50 individuals and organizations who helped build this Foundation’s future before it scaled.
Members are not donors who gave to a single event. They are the founding generation of a philanthropic institution, permanently recognized as the people who were present at the beginning.
Membership is permanent. The founding class closes December 31, 2026.
THE EVENING
It began on September 22, 2026.
The Legacy XI Founding Dinner at Subaru Park was the induction event for the founding class. Fifty guests. Names announced on the field. A walk down the sideline to the players’ benches. An evening in the PrimePoint Club with a fireside conversation between Meg Kane, CEO of World Cup Philly 2026, and Ale Bedoya, Philadelphia Union midfielder and Telemundo correspondent at the 2026 FIFA World Cup — hosted by Amy Fadool of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
The founding class was inducted that night. A small number of founding memberships remain available through December 31, 2026 for guests who were personally invited and unable to attend.
“50 Seats. One Field. A New Legacy That Begins at 250.”
THE MISSION
What your membership funds.
The Philadelphia Union Foundation works every day in Chester and across the Philadelphia region — providing youth with access to soccer, mentorship, and opportunity that changes outcomes.
HEADFIRST - mental fitness for players, parents and coaches
CHESTER SOCCER - fund, oversee and develop the Chester High School program and Chester Union Soccer Club. Provide team opportunities to play and create access
iAM Project - Career readiness for high school scholars
Safe Spaces - mini pitch development in Philly
Legacy XI Society founding members fund the growth of these programs at scale — building an institution that outlasts any one season, any one grant cycle, any one moment.
THE
WALL
Your name at Subaru Park. Permanently.
Every Legacy XI Society member’s name is permanently installed at Subaru Park — not a banner, not a program listing, not a temporary plaque. A permanent installation seen by every fan, player, partner, and visitor who walks through this stadium for years to come.
The wall is revealed during the 2027 season. In 20 years, when this Foundation has changed thousands of lives across this region, there will still be a wall at Subaru Park with your name on it.
You were there at the start.
