Epilepsy is one of the most widespread neurological conditions, yet it remains surrounded by misunderstanding and social stigma. At its core, epilepsy is a disorder in which the brain experiences sudden bursts of electrical activity, leading to seizures. These seizures can vary greatly—from brief moments of staring into space to full-body convulsions—depending on which part of the brain is affected.
